Teramont models with start-stop need an AGM battery, typically in an H6 or H7 size. The technician checks your current battery and fits the matching type and capacity.
Does a VW battery need adaptation after replacement?
Yes on most modern VWs. Adapting the new battery in the gateway resets the energy management so it charges correctly, and coding is needed if you change capacity or type.
Why does my VW battery have a cover around it?
