What the technician needs from you

Three details make the visit quick: the parking level and bay number, how the technician gets past the barrier (an access card, a visitor pass or you meeting them at the gate), and any height limit on the car park entrance. Service vans fit most basements, but a low clearance means the technician walks the battery down instead, so it helps to know in advance.

Add the car model and year, or a photo of the label on the old battery, and we load the right battery before leaving.

Fitting in basements and villa driveways

A battery swap needs about a metre of space at the front or rear of the car and no power supply from your building. In tight basement bays we work from the side the battery sits on, and on cars with the battery in the boot or under a seat we only need the boot or door open.

Basements also explain many of the calls we get: cars parked underground for days in summer heat and then started for short trips rarely get fully recharged. If yours keeps dying there, the test tells us whether it is the battery or something draining it.

Scheduled slot or urgent visit

If the car will not start, send your pin and a technician is usually with you in 20–35 minutes in Dubai, at any hour. If the battery is just getting old, book a slot instead: early morning before you leave for work, during the day while the car sits at the office, or in the evening at home. Either way the battery, the fitting and the warranty are the same.

Battery coding done on site

Many BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo and Land Rover models need the new battery registered with the car so the charging system treats it as new. The technician carries the diagnostic tool, so registration happens in your car park rather than at a dealer a week later. Start-stop cars get an AGM or EFB battery matching the original.

The old battery is taken away

A car battery is full of lead and acid and should never go in a building's bin room. The technician takes the old one with them and passes it on for recycling, so nothing is left in your car park or garage.
