Nissan Patrol battery replacement in Dubai
The Nissan Patrol (2010–present) usually takes a Flooded (SMF) battery in the JIS 105D31L or DIN H8 (L5) size family, around 80–100Ah, located under the bonnet. The Patrol is the default dune-bashing car in the UAE, and a long afternoon of slow sand driving with the AC and fans at full load leaves the battery short of charge by sunset. We bring the matching battery to you in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah and fit it with up to 24 months warranty.

When a Nissan Patrol needs a new battery
If two of these sound familiar, get it tested before it leaves you stuck.
- Slow cranking on hot mornings or after the car has sat in the sun
- Dash lights dim when the AC is running with the engine idling
- The battery is over two years old and summer is coming
Nissan Patrol battery size by generation
The Y62 Patrol (2010 to 2024) normally takes a large flooded battery in the JIS 105D31L size, with DIN H8 (L5) as the common European-case alternative, at around 80 to 100Ah. The terminal layout of the replacement must match the original, or the cables will not reach.
The new Y63 Patrol (2025 onwards) has a different engine line-up and electrical layout, so we confirm its battery from the VIN or the label before driving out rather than assuming the Y62 size.
Dual batteries and desert use
Patrols set up for the desert often run fridges, compressors, light bars and radios. A second battery with an isolator keeps those loads off the starting battery, so the car still starts after a night at camp. We install and replace dual-battery setups and test both batteries on every visit.
Signs the battery is struggling under desert or AC load: a slow crank after a hot afternoon on the sand, lights dimming at idle with the AC on full, or the car needing a jump the morning after a trip.
What sets the Patrol battery price
Price is set by the battery, not the badge: capacity (80Ah or 100Ah), case size, brand and warranty, and whether a second battery is fitted. Send the year or a photo of the battery label on WhatsApp for an exact quote.

Nissan Patrol battery questions
Question not here? Send a message and a technician answers, not a bot.
What battery does a Nissan Patrol need?
Most Nissan Patrol cars take a Flooded (SMF) battery in the JIS 105D31L or DIN H8 (L5) size family rated around 80–100Ah. The exact size can differ by year and engine, so the technician confirms it from the label or VIN before fitting.
Where is the battery on a Nissan Patrol?
On most Nissan Patrol cars the battery is under the bonnet. The Patrol is the default dune-bashing car in the UAE, and a long afternoon of slow sand driving with the AC and fans at full load leaves the battery short of charge by sunset.
How long does a Patrol battery last in Dubai?
Expect around 2–3 years in Dubai. Cars parked outdoors in summer or used mainly for short trips sit at the lower end, so a quick test after two years is worth it.
