Most Renault petrol models take DIN-size flooded batteries, with EFB specified on versions that have stop-start.

European start-stop systems
French, Italian and Czech cars sold in the UAE increasingly use start-stop, which means EFB or AGM batteries and, on some models, a battery reset after fitting.
- Match the original technology; a flooded battery in a start-stop car fails early.
- DIN sizes (LN2 to LN5) cover most models.
- Some engine bays are tight, so the battery is reached by removing a cover or air box.
- A memory saver avoids having to re-enter radio codes on older models.

Which battery does a Renault Duster need?
Most Dusters take a standard 12V flooded battery in a common DIN size, with capacity depending on the engine. We confirm it from the label and fit a battery with equal or higher cold cranking amps.
Is the Renault Koleos battery different from the Duster one?
Yes. The Koleos is a larger SUV developed with Nissan and needs a different size and capacity from the Duster. We confirm the exact fitment from the existing label before swapping it.
Do I need to reset anything after a Renault battery change?
Usually only the clock, radio settings and one-touch window function need setting again. We check these, along with the charging voltage, before we hand the car back.
How long does a Renault battery last in the UAE?
