Range Rover battery replacement in Dubai
Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar and Evoque models in the UAE use AGM batteries, and many carry an auxiliary battery too, so a proper test covers both. Expect two to three years from a main battery here, and less if the car sits for weeks, because these vehicles draw noticeable current while parked.

A low-battery message asking you to switch off systems, or the infotainment shutting down while parked, is often the first sign of parasitic draw or a tired battery on a Range Rover.
Range Rover batteries: notes from our technicians
- 01
Depending on model and year, the main battery sits in the engine bay or under the boot floor, and the auxiliary battery is often hidden behind a trim panel.
- 02
The auxiliary battery supports start-stop and keeps systems powered during restarts; when it fails, the warnings look like a main battery problem.
- 03
After replacement the battery must be registered with a diagnostic tool so the battery monitoring system resets its charge data.
- 04
Modules that fail to go to sleep after locking are a known cause of parasitic draw, so we measure resting current when a battery dies repeatedly.

Each model has its own page with the battery type, size family and where it sits.
British cars, auxiliary batteries and drain
Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar models carry a lot of electronics that stay awake after you lock the car. A weak battery shows up as warning messages long before a no-start.
- Many models have a second, auxiliary battery for start-stop or electronics.
- Low voltage triggers suspension, gearbox and infotainment warnings that look serious.
- AGM is the factory fit on most recent models.
- Registration with a diagnostic tool resets the battery monitoring system.

Send your car and location
WhatsApp the make, model and year, or a photo of the battery label, plus a location pin. We confirm the right battery and the price before anyone drives out.
- 02
The nearest van heads to you
Technicians are spread across Dubai, so one is usually 20–35 minutes away. You get their name and live location while they drive.
- 03
Test before we sell
The battery and alternator are tested first. If a jump or a loose terminal is the real problem, we tell you and you keep your money.

Fitted, coded, under warranty
New battery fitted with a memory saver, registered on cars that need it, old one taken for recycling. Up to 24 months warranty on the receipt.
Range Rover battery questions
Question not here? Send a message and a technician answers, not a bot.
Why does my Range Rover battery keep going flat?
The usual causes are a module staying awake after locking, an ageing AGM battery, or a car driven only on short trips. We measure the resting current to separate a battery fault from a drain problem before replacing anything.
Does a Range Rover need battery registration?
Yes. The battery monitoring system has to be told a new battery is fitted, otherwise it may undercharge or overcharge it and switch off comfort features early. We register it on site straight after fitting.
What does the Range Rover auxiliary battery do?
It keeps electrical systems stable during engine restarts and on some models backs up specific functions. It is smaller than the main battery and usually wears out in the same window of years, so we test it whenever the main battery is changed.
How long does a Range Rover battery last in the UAE?
In UAE conditions a Range Rover battery typically lasts 2–3 years. Heat, short trips and long periods parked shorten that, so we recommend a test once the battery passes two years.
