What changed in newer Korean cars

Does a Genesis need an AGM battery?
If your Genesis came with AGM, replace it with AGM, because a flooded battery cannot handle the cycling from start-stop and the electrical load. Older models fitted with flooded batteries can stay with that type.

What does the 12V battery do in a Genesis GV60?
It wakes the car, runs the locks and control units, and allows the high-voltage system to switch on. If it goes flat the GV60 will not power up even with a full main battery, and we can boost or replace it on site.
