Ferrari battery replacement in Dubai
Ferrari batteries are compact AGM or lithium-ion units, and on mid-engine models such as the F8 Tributo and 296 GTB they sit in the front compartment. Ferraris in the UAE often go weeks between drives, which is why Ferrari supplies a battery conditioner and why a flat battery is a common reason these cars refuse to start. We test, charge and replace Ferrari batteries at private garages, villas and hotel car parks.

A Ferrari left unplugged for a few weeks can show gearbox or system warnings after a laboured start, and many of these clear once the battery is fully charged or replaced.
Supercars, long storage and battery care
Performance and luxury cars are often driven rarely and stored for weeks. Their batteries die from slow drain more than from age, and some use lightweight lithium units.
- A smart battery maintainer is the best protection during storage.
- Lithium batteries need a lithium-compatible charger and must never be deep discharged.
- Batteries can sit in the front compartment, behind seats or in the boot.
- Registration or a battery reset is required on many models.

Ferrari batteries: notes from our technicians
- 01
Mid-engine Ferraris such as the 488, F8 and 296 keep the 12V battery at the front of the car, behind the front lid.
- 02
Front-engine models such as the Roma and Portofino place the battery differently, so the technician confirms its position before starting.
- 03
Hybrid models such as the SF90 Stradale and 296 GTB still need a healthy 12V battery to wake the high-voltage system.

Ferrari battery questions
Question not here? Send a message and a technician answers, not a bot.
Where is the battery on a Ferrari F8 or 296?
On the F8 Tributo and 296 GTB the 12V battery is in the front compartment, reached by opening the front lid and removing a trim panel. If the battery is too flat to release the lid electrically, our technician works through the correct procedure without forcing anything.
Should I use the Ferrari battery conditioner?
Yes, keep the conditioner connected whenever the car will stand for more than about a week, especially in summer. It holds the battery at full charge and prevents the deep discharge that shortens its life.
Can a Ferrari be jump started?
Yes, but it should be done with a regulated jump pack on the correct terminals, because Ferrari electronics are sensitive to voltage spikes. After the boost, we test the battery to decide between charging and replacement.
How long does a Ferrari battery last in the UAE?
In UAE conditions a Ferrari battery typically lasts 2–3 years. Heat, short trips and long periods parked shorten that, so we recommend a test once the battery passes two years.
Ferrari battery flat?
The nearest technician is usually 20–35 minutes away, day or night, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
