Infiniti battery replacement in Dubai

Infiniti shares much of its engineering with Nissan, so a QX80 has the same heavy electrical demands as a Patrol and a QX60 follows the Pathfinder. In UAE heat most Infiniti batteries last two to three years, and we replace them at your home, office or parking spot with the right capacity for the engine.

Infiniti batteries: notes from our technicians

  1. 01

The QX80 and its 5.6L V8 need a large, high-CCA battery, in line with what the Nissan Patrol Y62 uses.

  2. 02

Q50 versions with Direct Adaptive Steering rely on stable voltage, so a tired battery can affect how the steering system starts up.

  3. 03

Most Infiniti models use maintenance-free flooded batteries, with EFB on newer versions that have idle-stop.

Japanese

Reading a Japanese (JIS) battery code

Most Japanese cars use JIS-sized batteries with codes like 55D23L or 80D26R. The code tells you everything the technician needs.

  • The first number is a performance rank, not the Ah. Higher means more starting power.
  • The letter (B, D, E…) is the width and height class of the case.
  • The next two digits are the length in centimetres.
  • L or R tells you which side the positive terminal sits on. Getting it wrong means the cables will not reach.
A problem we see often

On Q50 models with Direct Adaptive Steering, a weak battery can bring up steering or system warnings at start-up that disappear once a healthy battery is fitted.

How it works

How we replace a Infiniti battery where it is parked

No tow truck, no workshop queue. This is how every visit runs, whether it is 3pm or 3am.

  1. 01

    Send your car and location

WhatsApp the make, model and year, or a photo of the battery label, plus a location pin. We confirm the right battery and the price before anyone drives out.

  2. 02

The nearest van heads to you

Technicians are spread across Dubai, so one is usually 20–35 minutes away. You get their name and live location while they drive.

  3. 03

    Test before we sell

The battery, connections and the vehicle’s charging system are checked first. The procedure follows the installed battery type, including the low-voltage supply on hybrids and EVs. A battery is not replaced just because it is discharged.

  4. 04

    Fitted, coded, under warranty

The matching battery is fitted using the vehicle-specific isolation and reconnection procedure, with registration or initialization where required. The old battery is collected for recycling. Up to 24 months warranty is stated on the receipt.

FAQ

Infiniti battery questions

Question not here? Send a message and a technician answers, not a bot.

Does a Nissan Patrol battery fit an Infiniti QX80?

In most cases the QX80 and Patrol Y62 share the same battery size and specification, because they are built on the same platform. We still check the label, since terminal layout and capacity can differ between years.

Does an Infiniti need battery coding after replacement?

No coding is needed, but a few settings such as the one-touch windows and the clock may need resetting. The technician resets what is required before leaving.

How often should I test my Infiniti battery?

Every six months is sensible in the UAE, ideally before and after summer. The test takes a few minutes and shows battery health and alternator output, so you can replace the battery on your own schedule.

How long does a Infiniti battery last in the UAE?

In UAE conditions a Infiniti battery typically lasts 2–3 years. Heat, short trips and long periods parked shorten that, so we recommend a test once the battery passes two years.

Infiniti battery flat?

The nearest technician is usually 20–35 minutes away, day or night, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
